How to Store Your MINC Foils
The Heidi Swapp Media Team has been in the cleaning mood! Have you been feeling the same? It almost feels like “spring fever” but in January! We have been de-cluttering our homes and organizing our office and craft rooms. We are sharing how we are re-claiming our spaces!
Last January I was excited to share the reveal of my craft room makeover…
It has been a year and a few things have changed to keep things a little more organized and cleaner.
I don’t know about you, but I hate dusting. So keeping everything in containers keeps the dust limited on my craft supplies.
If you own a Heidi Swapp MINC Foil Applicator, the dust in your space can actually keep your projects from foiling perfectly.
Have you ever noticed a random black speck on your foiling job? It might mean that your space needs a good dusting. I have also found that storing your foils in the package they come in is a perfect way to keep the dust out! I like a little extra protection and have been storing my foils in another container. After I started doing that I haven’t had a problem with dust on my foiled projects! I also keep dust cloths right in my area and dust off the MINC before I get started.
I use this storage container that fits Heidi’s foils perfectly and then it fits right into the IKEA Kallax book shelf.
If you want to learn more about how to get that perfect MINC foil, check out this video I created to answer all those “how-to” questions.
I love this space. When it is time to create I get my supplies out and when I am finished it all has it’s place to go again.
