how to transform a planner page with a dip pen and ink
I am so excited to share with you my newest pages from my Storyline Chapters Planner notebook. This year I am using my Planner notebook to record and celebrate all my crafty and creative projects for the year! I wanted to create a bold statement on my pages so I grabbed the Dip Pen kit from the Color Fresh collection and used them to create a subtitle for the week.
One of the best reasons for using the Dip Pen kit and the Storyline Chapters pages is there is no bleed through onto the back! Yipee!!! The best news for any planner peep!
Using the black Dip Pen ink was just so easy and what a stunning effect it creates!
I hand wrote my word with pencil first, then traced over it using the Dip Pen and Black Ink. I allowed it a couple of minutes to dry and then erased any lines still visible. Next I grabbed some of my colored pencils and filled in the gaps in my letters. I love how this now draws the word, embellishments and photos together. So quick and so easy! I then filled my pages with stickers and Ephemera from the Storyline Chapters collection.
I also created a smaller subtitle on the left page as well. I just love how pretty it looks.
I love the way my pages look and I know I will definitely be trying this technique again…maybe with the pink ink next time!
Bring on a new week and a new bunch of creative memories!
