interactive layout with carefree
I am totally in love with the new CareFree collection. The soft color palette yet vibrant designs creates a fun collection to work with. I knew I wanted to work with the fold out plastic sleeves to create an interactive element to my travel pages. I think these pockets are going to become a staple in my scrapbooks. Let me share with you my new favorite travel layout.
As you can see on the left I created a 12×12 pocket page and on the left I used the 8.5 x 11 fold out plastic sleeves.
For the pocket page I trimmed 3×4 pieces of pattern paper from some of my fav double sided 12 x 12 pattern papers. My favorite being the Sunny Skies, Sunset and Vista patterns. They suited my photos perfectly.
I then went ahead and embellished my photos and pattern papers with stickers from the sticker booklet and a tag from the tag pack. I love the graphic letter stickers for my title I used on my tag.
I printed off one of my photos at 8.5 x 11 and again used stickers from the Sticker book to simply embellish my photo. I love the bold statement created with this large photo.
As you can see the pocket pages lifts up to reveal more pockets underneath. I adore the interactiveness of this!
On the inside I printed another photo at 8.5 x 11 and embellished with more stickers from the Sticker book.
On the left I trimmed the Sunny Skies pattern paper to 8.5 x 11. I then layered my smaller photos over the tag and tucked some of the paper embellishments from the Ephemera pack in and around my photo. I love the dreamy affect that is created. I cannot wait to create my next project using the yummy Carefree collection.
