Julianne Hough’s Bridal Shower | Part 4
Day of the party had finally arrived! My team had been in a whirl-wind of activity designing all the decor and take away elements! I’d like to share all the bits and pieces they created…
– Party Map. Each guest was given a map so they would know where everything was, and also credited each company that had collaborated on this event.
– Self-adhesive labels for Blissfully You custom perfume bottles
– Littlefield Lane “order forms” for the custom charms
– “Love Notes” book for Julianne
– Signs for all the stations
– Napkin rings
– Custom Sweet Tooth Fairy cake bites box! YES! The Sweet Tooth Fairy arranged to have their printer create CUSTOM cake bite boxes just for this special event! They looked AMAZING, and if you have ever tasted one of her famous CAKE BITES, you would know what an amazing gift this was to take home!
That morning, all the players were on-set in custom made t-shirts with their “job” on the back (and black t-shirts donated by Cents of Style…cause we love their shirts!).
I was SO EXCITED to see the GORGEOUS floral displays that Ashley Nackos had been working on! they were absolutely mind blowing! Her style is just this effortless perfection and the mix and match vases were delightfully eclectic and unique! HUGE thanks to ESPRIT RAW FLOWERS who donated the florals so that Ashley could create something unforgettable! I just loved everything about them, and I wished I could freeze time so they would just stay so perfectly beautiful! Ashley is a local, freelance florist who just blows my mind every time I see her creations…and she is one of the kindest, most fabulous people i know!
As guests arrived, the first thing they walked by as they entered the back yard was my 6 ft tall Marquee chalkboard. Eric made it for an event about a year ago, and we use it all the time! It’s so awesome, and makes a fantastic impact! I set it up at the entry to the party along with a black and white striped outdoor umbrella that I ordered from Ballard Designs.
My team had set up all the letterboards before hand, and so distributing them to their proper position was quick and easy. Many hands make light work, and so set up was a buzz of activity!

And then guests started to arrive. The view over the party as everyone arrived was so pretty! it was so fun to meet Julianne! She’s seriously the most kind and gracious person! I loved watching everything come together so beautifully. the FOOD was DELICIOUS! The weather was flawless…just the right amount of a breeze to keep things cooled!
And my favorite part?? This is SUPER superficial…but my dancing girls thought I was the COOLEST! They were SO excited to meet Julianne! They idolize her, and meeting her was amazing.
I have said it before, event planning is really my ‘dream job’. I LOVE making things special, and creating unforgettable moments! I love watching people SMILE and enjoy! But the best thing about this event was working with such a tremendous group of TALENTED and wonderful people! These are people who I respect and admire, and it was SO FUN to make this happen!
