Last Minute Gift with Storyline Chapters
Last minute gift need? I got ya covered.
It’s not only beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, it is almost here!
With that, if you are like me, you may have a few items on your list to check off.
One of my favorite gifts to give is that of story and photos.
Today let me share with you this easy peasy mini album you can whip up in just a few hours.
For this Cinch bound mini album I had in mind I printed some photos. Print at home if you can. Or utilize an hour printer at your local drug store.
Then I grabbed all things Storyline Chapters. Not completely sure how this album was going to take shape, I just gathered all the Storyline Chapters Paper pads I had. Plus, the stamp set! Oh yea. We gonna need some stamps. Then I got to work with a simple 6×4 mini album that was going to be bound with the Mini Cinch.
To start with I kept the recipient in mind when covering the album. For this one in particular green was the color of the day. So I covered the outside and inside of two pieces of chipboard. These measured about 6 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches. Then, I went ahead and punched the binding holes with the Mini Cinch.
For the inside, I kept it fairly simple knowing this was last minute with not a lot of time to get fancy. This meant adding in the photos with the Cinch binder. But it also meant keeping to one embellished page. So the opening page is where I added in a stamp collage with the Storyline Chapters Stamp set. Oh…and don’t forget about those Minc Stamps. They are great title page stamps and were perfect for this opening page too. Then I used some stickers from the Storyline Chapters Paper pads to create a little notched cluster to add just a bit of fancy.
After all the photos were gathered and the title page was created, I followed manufacturer directions for binding all the pages and photos and covers with the Mini Cinch. Love that little machine that sits so easily on my work space.
Then I added just a bit of embellishing to the front cover. Again, the green was to accommodate the receiver. It was all about them with that cover color. But it was certainly easy enough to create with papers and stickers from Storyline Chapters.
Hope this inspires you if you are needing a few more last minute gift ideas. Hand made gifts are the best. Gifts of story and photos are even better than best.
