LET’S LOVE I BLUSH MEMORY DEX

LET’S LOVE I BLUSH MEMORY DEX

Happiest Friday everyone 🙂

Today’s inspiration is brought to you by love, some new favourite stamps of mine AND the gorgeous blush Heidi Swapp Memory Dex Spinner.

With February approaching, and Valentines Day here before we know it, I am taking this time to share some ‘love inspired’ Memory Dex cards with you all.

I thought it would be fun to channel some love vibes and some love inspiration.  Also…just give me all the pink. Always.

I love to create basic, artsy cards, when it comes to making additions to my Memory Dex.

Simple, yet a place to just allow myself to be creative.  I think that is why I love using stamps to create layers and backgrounds a lot.  It is such a simple technique, yet always yields beautiful results.

Combining stamps with other techniques such as blending tools, inks and stencils, is also another fun and creative way to create cards.

I love how soft these hearts look against the crisp stamping.

My Memory Dex is one of those projects that just never ceases to inspire.

I also just love collecting and adding to my spinner.

And taking time to just flip through all of the cards takes me back to each and every time and mood I remember creating them in.

One of my most used tools when it comes to creating my cards has to be the Memory Dex dies and the Memory Dex Punch.

I love taking favourite pattern papers and then cutting them out with my dies to create my own cards.

This gorgeous paper from the Storyline Chapters Paper Pad is such a fun one to add to my spinner because of the multi colours and patterns.

I simply added chipboard alphas on top, added small amount of white acrylic paint and then stamped onto the letters for a bit more of a mixed media look.

Adding machine stitching is always a favourite of mine.  I love the texture of the threads.

When it comes to the Memory Dex Punch that I mentioned, this is one of the many reasons I love it.

Adding in favourite photos is so easy.  I simply punched one of my favourite Instax prints and snapped it into the spinner to accommodate my cards.

I love having this creative option.

My creative challenge for you this weekend is to create some ‘love inspired’ cards.

If you do not have a Memory Dex, any card will be fine.

However, I certainly encourage you to get your hands on one of these spinners if you do not have one.  They are SO awesome and also just look so cute on any desk, or workspace.

Wishing you all a fabulous creative weekend ahead, let us keep showing the love!
