Letterboard Easter Vignette
Easter is one of my favorite times of year. The fact is, anytime we have a faith or national reason for all the family to stop and gather together for a day is a favorite time for me. I love having family and friends in my home. A chance to cook up a storm and bake up plenty of goodies. Cause let’s face it, the reason they all gather is for the desserts anyway.
For several years now I have had the tradition of Easter dinner in my home. I enjoy putting the food and desserts together in a pleasing and appetizing manner. There is just something about gatherings around faith traditions with family and friends AND food. These moments create memories and traditions that will long serve our hearts.
Here’s the thing…everyone also expects to find a bit of styling going on with these family events too. I may have a bit of a reputation. ah hem. And, of course, I am more than happy to oblige. Now that the Letterboard is available, I am all about making these frames of sentiment part of the decorations.
A must have, the Menu Kit, was a lot of fun to use for my table. The Menu Kit includes Heidi’s handwritten days of the week, plus the word menu, breakfast, lunch, dinner and bon apetit. Fun, right? This kit will be getting a lot of mileage in this house.
These dessert vignettes are not hard to put together.
Just place your deserts in pretty dishes.
Add some fresh flowers.
Make use of a Letterboard or two for the sentiment and a menu.
And even lemonade in pretty bottles add a nice touch as well.
Bring it all together on a side board or dresser. And be sure to invite them all.
This Easter table is an inspiration for any dessert display. Add to it as much or as little as you like. Make it your own. But most of all, enjoy your family and friends and make plenty of memories. Happy Easter.
