Hello friends!
Today I am up on the blog to share my June ‘Excavate’ Memory Planner journey with you. Have you all been playing along with 2018ex? I absolutely love it. If you have not heard of 2018ex click here to learn all about it. It has been such a great way to keep me both motivated and accountable when it comes to staying committed to my Memory Planner.
For June I decided to use the pink glitter personal sized planner.
Using this planner was part of my own ‘excavate‘ journey. I have always been a fan of the larger memory planner, but I just wanted to push myself a bit and try using something new. I think I kind of loved it! It was a great way to focus on the key aspects as of course it is much smaller so the space is limited. Sometimes less is definitely more and I think using a smaller planner helped me to become more intentional with what I was choosing to document and why. So that was a definite win this month!
Because I started this planner in June, I simply rearranged the tabs and pages placing June in the front.
Inside is the Excavate printable you can find here.
These printables are fabulous focus tools and I love filling them out each month. It is really interesting to reflect on them at the end of the month (as I wrote these out at the beginning). It is nice to read what was accomplished, what needed more work and reflect on what I learned from the process.
Next up…here is where June took us this month!
This month we celebrated birthdays (including my daughter who turned 1 years old!), a lacrosse tournament, wind up parties, a new hair cut, splash park dates, playground play time, camping trips,…pretty much a kick off to summer I would say!
I loved utilizing the Heidi Swapp Memory Planner sticker books so much. They are full of awesome quotes, adorable icons and perfect little touches that fill up the rest. Such a fabulous planner tool!
I also had a blast using the personal sized Photo Sticker Sheets to add my favourite photographs into my pages this month.
It is really awesome to look back and see all that has happened and have it recorded down. I love that the personal sized planner did not overwhelm me and I did not feel like I had to fill up a ton of space. A few photos, some stickers, journaling…and the memories are down. No need for overcomplicating!
I hope you enjoyed this peek into my Personal Memory Planner for the month of June. I loved sharing it with you.
Remember, you can find all of the products I used in this post at select Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores and Jo-Ann online. You will love them for documenting, I promise you!
