minc foil nail art
Welcome back to Minc it Monday.
Today I am here to share a quick tutorial an a new technique I discovered using the Minc Reactive Paint and Foil! Nail Art! As i was using my Minc recently I had some of the Reactive paint stuck to my fingers. I picked up the foil and some of it rubbed off! Lightbulb moment!!! I wondered if I could try this on my acrylic nails for a gold fleck look! And it worked!
Let me share how easy it was to do!
First gather your supplies- The Minc Reactive Paint, Gold Reactive foil, scissors and a top coat of nail polish.
Trim a small area of the foil with your scissors.
Next, using the Reactive paint and your finger randomly dab small areas on your nail where you would like the foil to go. Press lightly, only a small amount is needed. Allow the paint to almost dry, this is the key to ensuring the foil will transfer.
After about a minute grab your foil and place over the paint and pull on and off. Repeating this as necessary until you have the desired look you want. Allow the paint to thoroughly dry now.
Finish off with a coat of top coat to seal the foiled flecks.
I just love my new nails.
I am thinking the possibilities can be endless now with different colored foil combinations, and nail colors…I’m thinking red nails with gold foil for Christmas or black nails and silver foil for Halloween! Combine foil colors, have each nail a different color….ahh the possibilities!
Grab your Reactive paint, favorite foil color from your local Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts store and get creating!
