MINC it Monday | Christmas Countdown
Did you spy the FREE Christmas planner printable Heidi shared on Friday! It was sized just right for your Personal OR Classic planner. I have already used it my planner but I wanted to take it a step further and see how some of the cut apart pieces from the printable would look in my December Countdown album and to make it even shinier- I would MINC some pieces! Today I want to share how I have used the printable in both ways…lets begin!
For my album this year I am using the Mini Storyline Gold Spot album. It was the perfect size for a December countdown and I loved the spiral nature of the album. I decorated the front cover with some of the pieces from the new Snow Globe Card Kit.
I began by creating a 2018 cover page. I trimmed a piece of paper from my stash the same size as the pages. I used my We R Memory Keepers planner punch to punch holes down the left side and slipped it into the spiral. I then adhered it to the front of my page.
I then grabbed the printable and printed it onto vellum using my Laser printer.
I trimmed out the words” Be Merry and Bright” and then ran it through my Minc with some Gold and Pink Ombre foil.
Again I used my We R Memory Keepers planner punch to be able to add the vellum into the spiral. I love the translucent feel it creates on my title page.
Once the vellum page turns you can see the full reveal of my page.
I added another piece from the printable that I foiled in Gold foil and stapled to my page.
Turning the page I used one of the cards that comes in the new Photobook Kit to hide my journaling. I added another foiled piece from the Cut apart printable as an extra element to my page.
The tag lifts up to reveal my journaling.
Next I used a cut file from Paige Evans as a fun element on my page.
I added some elements from Crate Paper and Paige Evans to embellish my page.
On my next page I used the printable again , but this time I printed it on photo paper. I then used a hole punch to cut out one of the elements and added it with pop dots onto my page.
Next I used one of the FREE Phone wallpapers Heidi shared last week to add another fun element to my page.
I printed it onto vellum and added it into my album using my We R Memory Keepers planner punch.
I am loving documenting my December in my album! It really is my most favorite time of the year!
