MINC It Monday | DIY Foiled Pinwheels
Welcome back to MINC It Monday. I don’t know about you but I just can not get enough the of the Leopard Print Minc foil. I just want to use it ALL the time! I came up with the idea of creating a fun pin wheel to embellish my newest layout using the delish Color Fresh collection and and the Leopard Minc foil. I love the combination of all the patterns! Best of all you can find all the supplies at your local JOANN store! Let me share how my layout came together.
I started with my base pattern paper with the gorgeous yellow pattern paper from the 12 x 12 Color Fresh paper pad!
I then went to my local copy store and asked them to print out two pieces of A4 thin cardstock with a totally black background. Next I foiled the two sheets with the Leopard Minc Foil in my 12 inch Minc machine. I cut that BFF Paige Evans Cutfile using some American Crafts white cardstock and then backed it with some of the foiled cardstock. I then over laid one of the Colour Fresh Puffy Stickers.
I then trimmed another piece of the foiled cardstock into a square and backed it with a piece of the pattern paper from the Color Fresh collection. I then cut slits from the four corners and folded each side in to create the pin wheel and adhered it to my layout. I added one of the stickers from the Color Fresh collection to the center of my pinwheel.
I tucked photo hidden journaling in behind the embellishments and added some of the Minc stamps to complete my layout.
I love the shimmer and shine the leopard print foil creates as you move it in the light. It adds such fun to any project!
Don’t forget you can find the Leopard Minc Foil and Color Fresh collection at your local JOANN store!
