MINC it Monday | Magic Medium and Stamping
Hello friends and happy Monday.
It is time for more Minc inspiration and today I want to share a quick little tutorial on how you can use Magic Medium to stamp then foil using your Minc machine. Yes…you heard me right! Stamp and Minc!
Right now at select Jo-Ann stores you can find this Magic Medium in the Heidi Swapp Boutique aisle. It is a special medium that when used with your Minc machine allows you to achieve beautiful foiled effects in a variety of ways.
One of these ways, as I mentioned above is stamping.
If you are anything like me, you have a ton of rubber stamps hidden in your stash.
Stamping is always fun when used with regular inks, but now with Magic Medium you can take that same stamped image and achieve a foiled design! Yes…it is possible.
To stamp and foil with Magic Medium you will need the following supplies:
Make Up Blending Sponges
Watch below to see just how easy it is to stamp and foil with Magic Medium!
It really is SO easy to do!
Simply apply a small amount of magic medium to your non stick mat. Lightly dab your sponge onto the medium and then dab it onto your rubber stamp. Quickly apply your stamp onto your desired surface. Repeat as desired. The medium will dry quickly and be sure to only run your project through your Minc machine once the medium is fully dried.
You can see how beautifully the stamped images transform when applied with foil.
This has got to be one of my favourite techniques! I hope you give it a try too. It is a total game changer that it is now possible to foil stamped images with the Minc.
Happy Monday friends 🙂
