Minc Touches and Halloween Gifts

Minc Touches and Halloween Gifts

The festive and giving season is here again.

I for one am so excited for the gifting season. Even though it’s still October. Even though Halloween is this week, it’s still excuse enough to make something fun for someone who could use some fun. The Minc Machine brings all the glam and wow-factor to any gift. Big or little.

One way to add in a Minc touch to a fun DIY gift box is by printing with your laser printer and foiling through the Minc Foil Machine. Seen here I printed on black cardstock. I had actually never done this before. I pulled this little digital image up in my photo software. Placed black cardstock in my laser printer. Clicked print. And ta dah! Little cute Halloweenie pumpkin ready to run through my Minc Machine with some Champagne foil to glam it all up.

To complete a little DIY Halloween Treat Box idea I had, I used the WRMK Trim and Score board to score and fold edges of pattern paper that I pulled from the Care Free Project Pad. Having folded the scores in, I then adhered it well to a piece of more black cardstock that was glued to a piece of chipboard. You know, to keep it sturdy.

Having crafted my little treat holder I gathered a few things to add to this DIY Box. I made a notched flag and attached to a black paper straw. Of course a bar of chocolate has to be included. I made a tag, from the same black cardstock, that I can write a note on with a metallic ink pen. A little hand made and hand stamped notebook was crafted to include with the treats (Stamp is from the Minc Stamps Collection). And then of course tulle and my Champagne Foiled Pumpkin. So cute, right?

All the little items were gathered up into the DIY Box. A bit of kraft crinkle cut paper was tucked in to make sure everything was good and snug.

It’s a simple little gift. Made glamorous with the Champagne pumpkin. And sure to make anyone feel very spooktacular.
