my experience on paperclipping roundtable

This week I had the pleasure of participating as a panelist on the ‘Paperclipping Roundtable’…also known as PRT. The show is a pre-recorded podcast that you can subscribe to—the shows are super diverse and fun.

This week I joined Noelle Hyman (the host), Nancy Nally of Scrapbook Update and my hero, Stacy Julian of Big Picture Classes. The idea is that it’s a casual conversation and discussion like it would be if we were just out to lunch—so I loved the differences of opinion and unique perspectives.  You can totally download the recording, or stream it to your phone and listen as you craft of clean or dive or exercise… love me some multitasking!

This show I did get the chance to talk about my upcoming class at Big Picture classes… and it was fun to be able to share some of my thoughts and concepts behind & surrounding the class. I really recommend you give it a listen, I think that it really opened me up in talking about it- in a way that it’s hard for me to express in writing. We talked about things like ‘instagram’ which is iphone photo sharing…ways that our new technology allows us to ‘observe’ and share our thoughts and memories.

One of the things that is fun about the show is that each of the panelists get to choose a ‘pick of the week’. I like to know what other people love to use… I was trying to choose something, and finally I settled on the ‘silhouette’…ever since I learned  how to convert a .png file into a cutting file I haven’t stopped! I LOVE it! it’s a whole new ball game! (you can see my video tutorial on how to do that here)

Ok, so the good news is that Big Picture Classes has donated a spot in the The Art of Observation class to giveaway- so head over to the PaperClipping Blog here and leave a comment to win a spot in the class! The giveaway is open until Sunday…
