My Halloween Entryway
Even though it’s still in the high 80s here in the Midwest, it’s time to start thinking about everything autumn & Halloween!
I usually wait until October 1 to start decorating for Halloween, but this year, I decided to start a bit early.
Wanna see how I’m decorating my entryway for spooky season?
I love the color orange…but I’m not a huge fan of decorating my house with it.
So I decided to use my favorite color right now – kelly green – in my Halloween vignette.
I painted my Heidi Swapp “Halloween” Wall Word using spray paint, and then I attached it to my feather wreath using floral wire.
This fantastic Heidi Swapp Neon “31” is beautiful strung with Lime Green Neon Wire.
And the lights make the entire entryway glow when the sun goes down!
I added a few of the bats from the Bat Garland around my vignette by using foam dots to stick them to the wall and to some of the other decorative pieces.
This silly guy was created using Heidi’s new Pumpkin Tattoo.
I simply painted a decorative pumpkin white and applied his darling jack-o-lantern face the same way you would any temporary tattoo. I wanted to make my pumpkin a bit more whimsical, so I slightly offset his (almost) toothless grin.
NOTE: you can use a real pumpkin with this kit, too!
The Pumpkin Tattoo kit also comes with a string of lights and bulbs – plus directions on how to turn your plain old pumpkin into a marquee masterpiece!
I LOVE how my Halloween decor this year.
And I love that I can completely customize so many of Heidi’s new Halloween pieces to coordinate with my chosen color scheme.
Happy fall decorating!
