There is an extra specialness about this time of year. The opportunity to fill ones home with lit trees and hanging lights and beautiful festive touches is something I look forward to every year this time. And bonus this year: Marquee Love Letters in that adorable 4″ size. The team has done a beautiful job sharing their own inspiration. Today it’s my turn.
Here’s a little refresher regarding these mini lights. They are exclusively available at Michaels Stores. They are ever so DIY. And they were meant to be hung as a banner.
They come in that classic Marquee Love white paper rendering. They are already a kit unto themselves with bulbs, holes for the bulbs, plus a strand of light that connects to other letters.
Also, they paint up beautifully. For my soon to be table top center piece, each letter was painted with Deco Art Dazzling Metal in Shimmering Silver. It’s a classic silver. And the application is beautiful.
They also come with a little template for that particular letter. Michaels also carries this Decorative Paper Pad as part of the Gallery Wall Collection. I used the template to cut out my glitter letters.
That 4-inch size is just all that. Love how the paint and the glitter paper make these babies shine.
As mentioned, the letter kit includes the bulbs perfect for each particular letter.
Unique to the Christmas Lights 4-inch Marquee Letters is this slit and punched hole on the side.
You can see here that each letter is strung together and the light strand fits right into the above slit. Remember how I said these were meant to hang banner style? Well that is one way. But I made mine out to decorate my front table and created a center piece.
Because of their size these letters fit this smallish vignette of berry and leaves, candles plus pine cones to adorn my table.
And my favorite part of all? It just takes one battery pack (sold separate) that is remote powered! I know!!! I don’t have to fiddle with each individual letter to turn my center piece on. It’s remote!
How great is that?
I managed to hide the piece that is connected to the letters…
It sits right snug in there among the moss and pine cones This aspect of these letters is truly genius plus makes it just so easy to turn all the lights on at once. And did I mention only one battery pack needed?
So here is to a new season of fun and festive decorating. Saying it in lights is one of my most favorite ways to decorate my home. I hope you find the same.
