oh FLIP!
It’s Saturday morning here in my neck of the woods, and the sun is streaming in, but the house is a total disaster! I don’t remember it looking like this before I fell asleep here in the couch working!? I wonder what happened? Every inch of my body is sore…my hands, arms, r.elbow, shins, buns… shoulders… WHY you ask? Played my 2nd tennis match yesterday, and it went for about 2 hours. We fought a good fight, but my partner Janna and I lost in the last 2 games. (frowny face). I think that I will need to actually exercise during the week if I don’t want to feel like this. I am enjoying playing tennis so much. It’s still pretty chilly, but when you are working hard on the court, you get warmed right up.
My friend Jessica sent me a link to her blog this morning, where she designed her own custom FLIP video! You HAVE to check it out!! how COOL is this?? I LOVE LOVE my flip video! Our family has had a blast with it.. it’s SO easy and fun to use… easy to edit and post to share the videos! Anyway… thanks Jessica…
So today was the last day of our houseof3.com ‘house warming project-a-day’… and this was the Friday installment.. maybe you already saw it in the create section at houseof3.com, but here it is again:

We designed a kit that has 4 lists: shopping list, phone messages, to do list, and meal planning list. I am not the type that loves to cook, and that puts a lot of effort into planning our family menus through the week… like normally, 5:30-6pm rolls around and I realize that people are hungry and I need to come up with something quick. Well, this tactic doesn’t really work for me here, as things are just not quite as convenient, or accessible.. planning is KEY. I am still struggling. But I thought that maybe if I had something ‘cute’… and I could keep a running list of what I have prepared in the past, so I am not doing the same thing too often, and I can keep this in my purse, or on the fridge… someplace accessible. It will help me doing the shopping, as well as having things on hand that I will need. SO, I had to make it cute!

I got this blog link this morning, and I thought it was SO cute, and fun to see all the House Warming goodies printed out. Pam printed and prepared the House Warming Large Printable kit as art journals for her granddaughters as they are moving! How fun, and thoughtful! Thanks for sharing!
I LOVE getting glimpses into your BLOGS.. so send me links anytime! Or leave in the comments! Have a great weekend… I am hoping for some creative time! we’ll see…

7 March, 2009 at 7:00 pmHi Heidi,
Just wanted you to know that I finally set up my own blog today…lol, thanks to you. I have wanted one for some time but just never thought I could do it. But reading your blog and then the House of 3 launch gave me just the shove I needed. I downloaded the sweet blog couture freebie from the house warming and actually set up my very own first blog. I could not get the background to work, very frustrating but the header went on in a snap. I found another background and tried to coordinate. Here’s the link http://letyourselfexplore.blogspot.com/
if you would like to take a peek. Very simple but a big step for me. Thanks for the inspiration, Catherine
PS Can hardly wait for the CE lottery, loved last year.
