OLD SCHOOL I BOY VIBES ON A SCRAPBOOK PAGE
Welcome back everyone and happiest Friday.
Today is all about Old School and celebrating some of my favourite pieces of the collection with a traditional layout.
I truly love when a scrapbook collection can be so versatile. I have both a son and daughter so it is really nice to know that when it comes to adding to my scrapbooks, I can use a collection to create both girl AND boy pages effortlessly and not have to sacrifice on either end. It can often be tricky to find elements that fit more ‘masculine’ stories and photos, so whenever I find a collection that works I am all over it.
That being said, Old School fits the bill perfectly. With its feminine touches and more rugged edges, it is the perfect companion to all your boy and girl stories!
I took some of our summer memories and printed off a variety of different sized and styled photos and collab-ed them onto this fun spread. This has got to be one of my favourite 12×12 papers from the collection called ‘Making Waves‘. It is the perfect background to pop photos and embellishments with that subtle touch of nostalgia that we all know and love.
The ephemera pack and sticker book are just amazing this time around. Holographic foiled details and retro vibed elements truly work to create such an overall feel of warmth, love and memories of good days. I added some machine stitching and type to note the details from these photos on a fun label from the 6×12 sticker sheet that I will want to never forget. The Old School Definition Stickers are one of my favourite pieces. I just love this release!
Old School is available now and I cannot wait to see what you all create with this collection. My mind is already spinning with ideas!
Have a fabulous weekend and will see you all again soon.
