i have been making my final preparations getting ready to leave for the Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event, and i am super excited… eric is coming with me, and we are really hoping for a couple of days sitting on the beach! last november when i was teaching on the 'Ultimate Scrapbooking Cruise' we stopped off in Puerto Rico only for a couple hours- when i got to meet Yamille. She is the most happy, gorgeous, delightful, determined and charismatic girl ever! whe met us at the ship, and took all the teachers to the most amazing little restaurant for a stunningly delicious dinner.
Right before she took us to this fantastic restaurant, we had quick tour of the downtown, and we got to see the event venue, and hotel… as well as some of the sites and the beach- we all got out on the beach to take a couple photos, — of course, i wanted to see how cold the water was, so i walked down to the water, a HUGE wave came up and crashed on me- and my white pants! it was awesome. (-ly embarassing). i can't wait to take eric back to that beach, and that restaurant!
i thought that i'd show off the project that i will be teaching- i switched it up a little from the projet that i originally planned to teach… but i LOVE it! it's so bright, and beautiful! of course we'll be doing a little glimmer misting, painting Chandelier Glam all over, and adoring the project with delicate tissue ruffles and flowers! ok, so it's quite the 'girlie' project…it's fun to make. The project is sponsored by Pink Paislee and i am combining the Soiree collection with the Sweetness and even a little Hocus Pocus. it's a book that will be super easy to fill with photos! we won't have time to add photos in class, but there are 10 full pages to cover with your beautiful memories! To those of you coming… you'll need a Trimmer, ruler, glossy accents, needle nose pliers (there is just one pesky jump ring), a big bite or an anywhere hole punch, a tiny attacher, sandpaper and a 2" circle punch. OH, and i'll be teaching this fab little pom-pom flower… so you'll need some of these: the Martha Stewart Fringe Scissors…i love mine! Yamille will have some on hand to pick up while you are there…
