blogging is the LAST thing i should be doing right now…
but i have been working on something for Creative Escape, and it  had me going through some old stuff that i have done… the oldies but goodies… it’s SUCH a delight to wander through my old pieces… remembering, reading…feeling so thankful that i wrote stuff down that i did… of course… the emotions are in overdrive. so please forgive! lol…and then i get an email from Kristi Sikora-Blankenship–who is also helping me with the little (cough cough) secret project for CE, and in the email it says… "enjoy the last few days with that baby in your tummy"… and it sends me immediately into tears.
i have a to share this layout that i ran across… did it about 5 years ago..
how amazingly precious.
helps to remind me how thankful i am for this hobby.. this obsession.

i have to get back to work.
my scrapbook studio is such a disaster, i can’t do one more thing tell i get it straightened up a bit.

thanks for all the sweet comments!
it’s really fun for eric to read!! LOL

Heidi – I’ve really enjoy reading your blog. I’m actually having a hard time remembering what it was like to be pregnant and my first child, daughter Charlie, was just born May 11th. I started a blog for her one month before she was born, in hopes that I’ll do a better job keeping up her blog (since I’m really bad about keeping handwritten journals). Now I just have to kick myself into gear to start her scrapbook!!!
    Take care – Kathy

What a precious little girl! Isn’t it “sad” that your little “baby” is now 5 years old, awaiting the day SHE will become a big sister? Time flies! Enjoy your last few days of “Mommy to 3”, as it will soon change with the new addition of your upcoming little blessing! (By the way, beautiful L0!)

Love the little hat, great layout. I miss my baby wearing the little clothes. I’ve got a 5’9″ 12 yr. old boy so no cute hats for me. Wouldn’t trade him for anything. Enjoy!

Congrats to your hubby,he did do an absolutely charming job on her room paint. Enjoy every minute and keep documenting them too cause they pass by sooooo quickly. My youngest is a high school senior this fall and wow talk about happy/sad emotions for me –or is it premenopause? LOL We can’t keep them babies, but we can sure treasure and document the moments along the way. Blessings to you, your family, and new baby coming. Rockester

Oh Heidi, now you are going to make me cry! Aren’t we lucky to have such a wonderful hobby – one that allows us to look back and really feel those moments. Think about how lucky our children are that they will have that same opportunity.
Best of luck to you and your new little addition… can’t wait to see photos!

Her entire first year album is turning out to be SHE STATEMENTS!! Thanks for the inspiration!

I know this may sound as unusual request, but is there anyway you could get me in touch with Kristi Sakura-Blankenship? I used to be her hairstylist when she lived in the chicago area. The first time I did her hair, We realized that we shared a passion for scrapping & stamping. She was always one of my favorite clients & she would usually bring me fun little samples from her work, which was Thermoweb at the time. She had a friend at CK & even hooked me up a day working at the Creating Keepsakes booth at the scrap expo with BECKY HIGGINS! It was so awesome. One of my favorite scrap related memories. Becky even signed her “The Art of Creative Lettering” book to me. Anyway, she was with Paper Adventures by then & had moved to the Milwaukee area & since then lost touch. So, therein lies my request for an email forwarded to her.
Lastly & certainly not least…love you & your line of products…called all costco’s in area to find out who had your it…LOVE IT!! Everyone in line was asking me about it…YOU ROCK!

Heidi, I was in your class last Saturday and can’t quit talking about it to my friends. But, I have to say that this is one of the cutest girly-girl rooms I have seen. I loved the idea about the handprint. I wish I had done that with my son when we moved in here. He’s 6’5″ now and probably wouldn’t be into it anymore. (only 16, more years to grow). Best of luck with your labor. Hope you have a very healthy baby, I know it will be happy with parents like you.
