love the pages that we showed off tonight- i had so much fun creating these- using the printable stuff from the "Summer Junque" series at House of 3.

i did two pages.. here is the first: take a look at it w/ no photo.

the photo mat is created w/ one of the Summer Junque backgrounds, with a Summer Junque card layered on top. it's so pretty, almost sad to put a photo on top and cover it up!

i used lots of the same ideas and techniques from last week's show- so the pages came together really quick.

this was my favorite part- i sewed 2 pieces of printed tissue paper together and created a fun double ruffle effect-  so here it is w/ the cute photo added:

it's not often that i create w/o a photo in mind- but for this one, i made the layout and then had a hard time choosing which photo to use.  This next layout was so much fun- i literally pulled the banners off my wall and put them in the background of my layout:

This is what the "background" looked like before i added photos- again i used my printed tissue paper ruffles and various other printable embellishments.

i LOVE how inspired i was from last weeks' show! SO CUTE!

and with the photos that i finally settled on: photos of Capri w/ her cute birthday dress…

both of these pages are almost exclusively "HYBRID" pages- almost everything has been printed and then used to create with … that is just awesome.  here is a list of all the kits i used:

Summer Junque Background Kit

Summer Junque Strips– used this for my ruffles. so cute.

Summer Junque Card Kit

Prize winner ribbon kit

Banner Word Kit

Quotes and Notes kit

Janet Hopkins used the same kits, and did some 'recoloring magic'… so Rhonna worked up an awesome tutorial that is on the house blog… you must check it out! cause it's just freaking amazing what you can do super quick and easy! love to love it!
