shine on with old school
Welcome back to Heidi’s blog. Today I am celebrating our visit to Covent Garden in London last year. When I noticed my son had his camo t shirt on I knew straight away that I wanted to include the Camo pattern paper from the Old School collection. Let me share all about how my pocket page spread came together.
I began with the 6×8 Old School collection pattern paper pad. I chose the Camo Paper and that Vintage lights pattern paper that matched perfectly with the photo above with the Make Up lights from the Charlotte Tilbury photo. I trimmed both to 4×6 and slipped them into the pockets.
I then used the Iridescent Thickers from the Old School collection as my title, adding a piece of Ephemera from the collection as well to the title card.
I then layered stickers and Ephemera both from the Old school collection over the top of my photos for a subtle touch of embellishment.
I then chose that ‘Shine On’ piece of ephemera and some stickers from the sticker pack to embellish my 6×12 photo.
Adding simple stickers and embellishments to my pockets allow my photos to shine through without being overwhelmed.
The electric patterns and designs in the Old School collection is the perfect way to achieve this result!
