Hello, hello everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!
Recently, I’ve been making strides to make areas of my life less complicated, less cumbersome, less frustrating, and less work.
Which is why Heidi’s Storyline collection is so important to me.
I’m sure you already know all about this fantastic way to document your stories. So I won’t rehash how easy & effective Storyline is. I won’t go into how quick & simple it is to get your pages done when all you have to do is add your photo, tell your “who,” “what,” “where,” add a date, and peel & stick on some embellishments…and I won’t take up time explaining and reminding you that the story is what’s important here…stories that deserve to be told…stories that are worth remembering.
Because you already know all that.
What I will do is show you one way I’ve made my storytelling that much easier.
I’m scraplifting my own layout.
I’m using the same page design over and over again…just with different kits.
And I’m loving it.
Here, let me show you.
The exact same page 3 times!
And I got all 3 of these layouts done in under an hour.
Let’s take a closer look at the details…
I started with a 4×6 photo for each page.
Then I dug through a few of my favorite Deck of Days kits (Boy Power, Girl Power, and Adventure) and picked pieces that were the same shape.
I typed up my “who,” “what,” & “where” and then adhered my photos and stickers.
I added a few lines of journaling & my date stickers, and
1 page design.
I popped each page into my Storyline album and moved on.
When it comes to scrapbooking, there’s really no reason to reinvent the wheel.
Just go with what you know.
Pick a design you love, and start telling your stories.
