subtle texture with Minc reactive mist
Don’t you just love the Minc! I love that it can completely transform a project with what ever foil color I choose. What is even more exciting are the brand new mediums – the Minc Reactive paint, Art Screen ink and the Mist and how they can take your Minc projects to the next level.
Today I want to share a layout I created recently using the Reactive Mist and new White foil.
You may be wondering where the white foil is!! Well I have created a white tone on tone effect on my white cardstock by splashing the Reactive mist onto my white cardstock, allowing it to dry then running it through my Minc machine with some of the white foil.
At the bottom of my post I share a quick tutorial video on this technique. I love the subtle texture it creates on my layout.
I also used some of the 6×6 Minc pattern papers and the light pink, gold and hot pink foil to create my clouds. After I foiled my 6 x 6 sheets I hand cut some clouds and attached them to my layout.
I added some layers and dimension with some glitter wood veneer words in Heidi’s handwriting and sheer stickers over and under my photos.
I also used some of the White Metallic texture paste and a stencil from my stash to add more dimension to my layout.
Check out my tutorial below to see how easy it is to achieve this result.
I hope you try this technique out, it is such a fabulous way t add shimmer and shine to your next layout.
