Oh My gosh! The brand new Wolf Pack collection from Heidi is just the perfect collection for my family! You may ask why?…well having two fun loving adventurous boys and the collection filled with boyish outdoor images and captions it is going to be used over and over! Now for my first layout I couldn’t go past this ‘Over the Moon’ pattern paper- My eldest who is obsessed with everything space received a surprise for his last birthday – A lego Rocket, he thought he was saving up to buy it for himself but the surprise and his reaction was amazing! …and two days later despite it being school days he completed building it , so I knew as soon as I saw that ‘Over the Moon’ pattern paper it was the perfect place to start.
I started by using my We R Memory Keepers typecast typewriter to add my journaling to the bottom of my layout! I then adhered my photos to the left of my layout. Next I grabbed the Wolf Pack Ephemera pack and added them in and around the moon design on my layout! I added some of the Ephemera with foam tape for extra dimension.
I then added my title around the moon image. I used the Wolf Pack thickers but sanded them first so they stood out from the background. Next I took some of the clear stamps from the collection and added some random stamping to the moon image as well for extra texture!
I took one of the Stickers from the Sticker and Rubon pack and rubbed on that perfect saying” Reach for the Moon” I then added it to my layout using foam tape.
I love how the elements of the collection create the ‘Space’ theme without it being a Space collection. I just added bits and pieces that suited my photos! I cannot wait to use this collection again, believe me when I say I am going to be using it lots!
