Yesterday we spent all day in a creative escape meeting, finalizing all the projects for the classes, and sorting out  various details… so my scrapbook time was seriously compromised! So I had no choice but to stay up late to scrapbook! I do enjoy scrapbooking all night! Luckily I had lots of TIVO to draw from: American idol, LOST, top design… all set! I finished these 3 layouts of Colton’s birthday last  year… when he turned 8 and got baptized… I guess these are really baptism pages, and no so much birthday.the feel is so different from the quincy party pages.. but I felt like it  fit!

This morning, when I was getting ready to work on cory’s party last year…Capri was just waking up from her morning nap. I could hear her in there talking and so happy, so I grabbed the camera. She was sitting up in her bed… and so we had a little photo shoot. I loved the photos so much, that I had to switch gears and go back to pink!
Sweet baby!

But I am sure when the kids get home from school I will be questioned by cory! They are definitely keeping tabs on my progress! It’s funny… they love being the subjects of my pages.  I am so thankful for my EPSON R1800, cause I am just printing whatever I need in different sizes right here on the spot…I love that. And the photos are really beautiful!
Makes this power-scrapbooking so much easier!

I just might need to take a break and open the mail and put away the laundry… I washed and folded EVERYTHING MONDAY… (it’s Thursday) and I haven’t put a stitch of it away.  Maybe later!!

Capri is absolutely a little princess the way you’ve dressed up that layout showing her off the way you did! And you, Heidi, are very much my “Queen” of Scrapbooking, the way you throw pages together with ease and style. I can’t say enough about how glad I am that our paths crossed in life…I am better because of it. Happy scrapping…and thanks so much for sharing with us- instead of putting your laundry away. I love a woman who “knows her priorities”! =)

heidi – you don’t know how much I love seeing some “power scrappin” pages. for years I have struggled with the “designer” looks of my job, and the everyday stuff of life. It is okay to not have every layout be something that could be published…(although, yours are still dang good!). thank you for sharing!

Oh.. Heidi.. you have inspired me.
My daughter is turning 8 in May.
Now I know what baptism pics to take.
Love the idea of him showing his CTR ring.
When do you think you will post the kits you mentioned? I am ready to purchase. CC in hand!
    Hugs from Idaho!

Gorgeous pages and ha ha I love that thing with the laundry..I can totally sympathise with you…its such an achievement to GET IT DONE but well putting it away always takes ages.. I think it is the sheer volume when you have 6 lots of peoples laundry to do…anyway I don’t know about you but scrapping is the little treat in between the mundane that keeps me going!! 🙂

Congratulations on Colton’s Baptism!!! That’s a giant step in the right direction. I love the BOY pages! Pink is nice too…I suspect that you’ll be changing gears back and forth a lot after the new baby comes along. Those brain cells–always losing them, esp. during pregnancy–good to see you’re using yours.

Heidi – I get so much inspiration from your layouts! One thing I have to say…I am so happy that you have not gone “digital”! I love the art of hands on and hope that scrapbooking is not going to to go into the direction of “computer scrapping”…. that would be a shame. Plus I have hundreds of dollars of materials that I must use up!! tee hee…keep the pages coming!!! ~Cathy
