Tips for Creating Elegant Travel Scrapbook Pages
Several months ago my family and I spent some time holidaying in London. One placed we loved was Bath. My boys were interested in the history of the Roman baths an my husband the architecture around Bath. When I saw the brand new Honey and Spice collection with the beautiful rich tones and elegant designs I knew I wanted to use it with my photos of Bath.

I decided to create a double page spread as I had a lot of photos from our trip there. I created a fun 12 x 12 page using the Happy Day pattern paper and on the right side I used a pocket page from my stash to add the extra photos and journaling.
The Happy Day pattern paper is filled with glorious blocks of color and pretty floral designs that create a pretty background for a layout.
I used some of the new clear Alpha Acrylic stamps to add some travel words to my page using black ink. The stamps have a distressed look to them that add texture without the bulk. I also added in my title with the Glossy black Thickers alphabet stickers that come in the collection.
On the right I added in my photos to the 3×4 and 4×6 pockets and then placed pieces from the Honey and Spice Ephemera pack over my photos for extra interest.
I took the 3×4 card from the Ephemera pack and and ran it through my We R Memory Keepers Typecast typewriter. I then used some of the clear stamps to add a title to my card.
I love how the color of the water from the Roman Baths coordinate perfectly with this collection. I cannot wait to print off more of my travel photos and create some more pages with the Honey and Spice collection.
