Hello everyone! Today I am wanting to share a fun DIY tutorial with you. Not only does it showcase just how incredible the brand new MINC Mediums truly are, but it also involves using these awesome brand new MINC kits. Never has combining products been easier, or more fun creatively. Here…let me show you exactly what I mean!
There are 2 MINC kits available from the MINC collection. One is called Enjoy Life (pictured above) and the other one is a Gratitude Kit. These kits are full of a variety of pieces that are ready to be run through the MINC machine as they are printed with toner ink. There are tags, mini file folders, tabs, die cut words…SO many fun pieces.
I love the possibilities. These all make such amazing additions to scrapbook layouts, planner pages, cards, journals. Really….there are SO many things you can include these pieces on.
As I was stating before, these pieces come ready to be run through the MINC machine with whatever foil you so choose to use. However, today I want to share just how easy (and amazing) it is when we add a little bit of MINC Medium magic to them instead.
These pieces can be customized and personalized with MINC Art Screen Ink, Reactive Mist and Reactive Paint. Using basic techniques, the mediums and MINC foil you can achieve draw dropping results….simply and effortlessly.
To demonstrate these incredible mediums at work, have a look at my video tutorial. I break down the basics on how to apply the Reactive Paint, Reactive Mist and Art Screen Ink to some of the pieces from the kit.
I just am amazed and so in love with all of the different effects one is able to achieve. The wow factor results get me every single time.
I love the different effects the Reactive Paint can achieve.
Have fun varying up your application method.
It is so neat to see how one medium, like the Reactive Paint can provide such different results. I love how it looks applied to the die cut word freehand, yet the paint application with a basic stencil is really beautiful too!
The Reactive Mist is always a gorgeous surprise because you only really see what the result will be once it’s foiled. Trust me, it never disappoints!
The Art Screen and MINC Art Screen Ink provides such gorgeous detailed imagery on the inside of this mini file folder. SO simple, yet amazingly gorgeous. Every single time.
Below, I created a scrapbook page layout incorporating some of the above techniques.
I used pieces from the kit that I altered using the mediums…some I simply added foil too, and my page background is a mix of Art Screen Reactive Medium using the floral art screen as well as some Reactive Mist foiled with black foil.
Not only do these kits provide ample opportunity for learning and play with the MINC Reactive Mediums….but they are also gorgeous embellishments and additions for any of your projects.
I hope you are able to get your hands on one of these amazing kits and the mediums to see for yourself just how awesome it is and how much FUN it is to create and play with them all.
