typical!

well…
i got that dissapointing call from the hospital that i was 1/2 expecting!
my dr. said that the hospital would call me by 10 pm to let me know if i could come in for my 5am appt.
well, at 10:01pm, i got the call that the hospital is at capacity…
that has happened every time!
well, not to worry! i have MUCH to keep me busy!
the good news is that i got a call from Jennifer Convertibles that my couch is scheduled for deliver on the 14th! that is 2 weeks earlier than we were counting on! so i am thrilled about that!
i guess it gives me a little more time!

i am BUMMED!
but… ready when they are!
i will keep you posted…..

Your COUCH can get early delivery but your baby can’t??? Too funny.
Both times when I had my boys I was the only woman in the unit and I got lots of attention! Sounds like your hospital is a little bigger than mine….
Might they take you later today, or does this mean waiting for another day? I hope, now that you’ve got that date in your mind, they will be able to take you soon, the waiting is the worst.
    Good luck!

Oh, what a bummer Heidi!! But just think, you could go into labor on your own, and then they’d have to take you!
How sad is it that I was thinking of you all night, knowing that you were scheduled for today. Maybe it’s because I just had mine a couple months ago.
    Good luck girl!!

UGGGG! I hate it when that happens. You know if you go into labor they will make room for you. You could go on a brisk walk to get things going. An old friend of mine swears by eating beets to get things going. I’ve never tried that since I’m a picky eater. Or you could just use this time to relax…perhaps even sleep while your’e waiting for an opening to come available in the hospital. My thought are with you. //jolenegeorge.blogspot.com/

the exact same thing happened to me when i went in to deliver my 3rd baby. when we arrived at the hospital they told me they were full and since i was being induced i would have to wait till a bed opened up. The wait was beyond agonizing…..luckily by the end of the day they had a spot for me and four hours later girl #3 was born!
    good luck heidi….its almost time!!!

After my first baby I learned that babies are “easier” when they’re inside your tummy, rather than out. =) Enjoy the last day or two…and before you know it you new baby will be six weeks old and you will be thinking “Where did the time go?”.

Well, look at it this way ~ you have a few more hours to get things done before the baby gets here! But, I so totally know how it is…you’re just so ready to get this pregnancy thing behind you AND to have this baby!!
I admit, I thought of you today and was so sure you had had that baby! Just know that you are in my thoughts & prayers, and who knows? Maybe tomorrow!! Good luck!

Welcome, welcome precious little Capri. I love the name you have chosen for daughter #2. You are so blessed to have 2 great sons & 2 precious daughters. That equals 6 treasures in your family. What a thrill to know you are all doing well. Heidi, let everyone wait on you & take it easy so your body can regroup. So far I think the newest generation of Kasteler Kin tallies 3 boys & 5 girls. My love to all of you.
